- I have been married to Doug for almost 7 years, and been (back) together for a little over 10. Doug and I met on a blind date in Germany and dated for about 9-10 months and he DUMPED ME!! :-) About 12 years later he called me, we started talking, he was at Ft Campbell and I was living in the DFW metroplex. We did that for about 3 1/2 years. Many long drives to Ft Campbell, and 2 deployments where we were not yet married. I am a mom of a wonderful 17 year old son, Seth. I am currently enrolled at CTC in Central Texas taking my pre-req's so I can apply to the RN program. Not sure if that will happen here or at another duty station. I like to run, ride bikes and read. I love spending time with friends and family. I love Texas!

Hey there! I am so glad I found your blog! I will be praying for you dear friend. I cannot imagine what you all go through. I am an American who is deeply indebted and thankful. Yes...get out there and get running! You know how much that does for our mental state!
